Y12 End of school or mock exam
We
would like to thank you for your hard work in writing the exam and invigilating
the exam. Year 12 students will be back in their normal lesson starting on 13
February 2017. If you have finished marking the exam, kindly prepare the
analysis of the result. Congratulation for Maths teachers that has completed
their analysis result. The following
are the evidences of the analysis, based on Pak Nicolas' previous email:
1.
Y12 Mock
Exam Curriculum Improvement Report – (HODs to Principals
& CC)
·
A summary of Y12’s performance in
each Paper and conclusions regarding what areas require more revision.
·
What can we learn? Describe how
your analysis of results will help optimize the curriculum for next academic
year.
Submission deadline 01 March.
2. Mock Exam Comments
– Published via MBac in March (Term 3 reporting).
·
Be sure to give written feedback on the exam papers
themselves or on a separate comment sheet. Students need to know how they
can improve as soon as possible.
·
Thoughtfully differentiated comments. What can each
student do to improve? Specific references to exam components.
· If you
keep a copy of the comments you make on the exam papers, or you summarise them,
you can use them directly for the report comments and save time later.
A friendly reminder for DP Languages teachers and TOK teachers to upload the External Assessment component and associated form on the school server. Do not hesitate to contact Ibu Vica should you have question.
MYP Update
A big Thank you to all for completing the Personal Project
grading. Students who got below a 4 will spend the next two weeks working with
the IB office to rewrite appropriate sections of the report. Their grade will
not be changed, but the will have demonstrated they are ready to progress.
We are introducing Y9 to the process. They have had one
submission, and will have two more this year.
