Welcome back, and congratulations to staff and students for some great “Grease” performances! We also made great progress working collaboratively to standardize the Personal Projects, not to mention the work being done on the Y 12 Mock Exams.

Diploma Update:

Year 12 Mock Exam
Year 12 continues their Mock Exam starting on 30 January - 10 February 2017 so they will not be in their normal classes. Kindly read the invigilation schedule carefully and please aim to be in the exam room 5 minutes earlier. Any question feel free to address it to Ibu Vica or Widy. 

MYP Update:

Personal Project Agenda

Please email Patrick and Popy the names and grades of any student who have a 3 or less

      Please do not share grading information with students, they will get the grades all at once in mid March.

After Standardization meeting

      The leaders should submit the F3 forms on MB Groups  “10 Personal Project 2016 - 2017 “
Click on “View Files” then F3 form, Then the class folder.

Please have all F3 forms uploaded to MB groups by Fri Feb 17

Please email Patrick and Popy the name of any student who earn a 3 or less.

MYP-DP Teacher Guide. ASSESSMENT

Believe it or not, we need to plan for Term 3 Progress Reports. In MYP there needs to be at least one or two criteria graded and recorded for Term 3 by the second week of March. That is just over a month away. To help with your Assessment Planning, you can see the “Assessment” section of the “MYP-DP Teacher Guide” on Pg. 14, as well as the “Summary of Assessment Practices at GJS” Click Here available in the resources section of the “GJS MYP-DP Blog”.
