Period 7 and Ext. Tutor: Peace day Assembly with the student council.

  • This Monday, Year 8-10 will focus on their final preparation to Week Without Walls, which will happen next week.

  • On Friday, 21st September 2018, Students Council along with The Seekers are having an assembly to celebrate the International Peace Day.  They would like to have all secondary students to be a crucial part of the celebration.  On that particular day, there will be a dressing-up day.  Students from each year level are encouraged to follow a certain dress code according to the following list:
      • Year 7  : Asia
      • Year 8 : Europe
      • Year 9 : Australia dan Oceania
      • Year 10 : Africa
      • Year 11: South America
      • Year 12: North America
Depending on the year level’s agreement, each class will need to choose a country to represent the big theme (for example, 7A will be Indonesia, 7B will be India, etc.).  Students get to dress up according to the country’s traditional costume or simply according to the colour of the country’s flag (for example, red and white to represent Indonesia or orange to represent Netherland).

  • Several MYP and DP teachers including Pak Ram and I will not be present at school starting from Thursday, 20 September until Monday, 24 September 2018. We will be attending a workshop at that time and most likely will be a little late in responding to emails. We will be back in school on Tuesday, 25 September 2018.
