This week’s message

 It is a busy time for students and teachers alike. Y8 and 9 students are just returning from the National History Day Trip to Singapore. This week most Y8 students will be on the Y8 Trip that includes and IDU and Service and Action component.

This week we will be looking at the feedback from BQC to help guide our planning this year into next year. Below you can see the overall school feedback, The full feedback for subjects has been shared with the HOD's.

Below is the recent BQC Feedback. The subject specific feedback has been shared with HODs. Previous years feedback can be found in the BQC tab on top of this page.





Term 3 Report



We are  nearing the end of Term 3 and want to be sure we are ready to write reports
To help you plan, here are the requirements for the T3 MYP reports:

T3= 
  • the criteria assessed in T3 to determine ‘highest sustained achievement since the start of the year’ in that criteria
  • the criteria not assessed will be carried over from Semester Report
  • All criteria A,B,C,D will be reported to generate a 1-7 grade, 
  • Tickbox for T3 ATL Taught and evaluation
  • Generic class comment

The assessments reported in T3 and the generic class comment should be the same for all students in a year level subject. For example, all student in Y7 Humanities in T3 should have covered the same unit and assessments, therefore the same generic class comment.

The good news with this is once it is done, it only takes about 3 minutes to put the comment into a class for all the students in that class.

Also good news, this comment can be carried over or adapted from last year’s T3 comment.

Dear Teachers,


On behalf of Year 8 IDU-Service Team, I would like to inform you that 74 out of 81 students of Year 8 will not be at school on March 13-16 for IDU (Math-Science) and Service Trip to Belitung.
