Wednesdays Unless leadership has scheduled a meeting, teachers should be available to meet with struggling students on Wednesdays. You can request/require struggling students to meet with you during that time as well.

Note, Next Monday we will have a staff meeting, so plan accordingly. Please do not expect to use next Monday for report preparation.

This week we are turning our focus to concluding Term 3.

Term 3 Report

We are  nearing the end of Term 3 and want to be sure we are ready to write reports
To help you plan, here are the requirements for the T3 MYP reports:

T3= 
  • the criteria assessed in T3 to determine ‘highest sustained achievement since the start of the year’ in that criteria
  • the criteria not assessed will be carried over from Semester Report
  • All criteria A,B,C,D will be reported to generate a 1-7 grade, 
  • Tickbox for T3 ATL Taught and evaluation
  • Generic class comment


The assessments reported in T3 and the generic class comment should be the same for all students in a year level subject. For example, all student in Y7 Humanities in T3 should have covered the same unit and assessments, therefore the same generic class comment.

The good news with this is once it is done, it only takes about 3 minutes to put the comment into a class for all the students in that class.

Also good news, this comment can be carried over or adapted from last year’s T3 comment.

Y12 Reports
A number of you have asked  about determining scores for year 12 students on this term report. The score you report should be mock exam score only (1-7). If students scored poorly on their mock, your report comments should give specific feedback for improvement prior to May Exams.

March 6, Tues. Generic Comment to HOD so HOD can submit to Principals
March 13, Tues.  All Grades entered
March 20 Tues absolute deadline for all corrections
March 21 Weds Reports Published

March 22-23 Thurs and Fri MSC
