Dear Colleagues,
The Semester 1 reports are out. Thank you for your efforts, and welcome to the second half of the year. We are hitting the ground running with Personal Project, Mock Exams, and more.

MONDAY Period 7

NHD.  Y 8 and 9 (no regular classes today for 8 and 9)
Extended Tutor Group for Y7, Y10-12

PD and COLLABORATIVE MEETING

Monday. Assessment Preps, Mocks. DP Teachers not judging NHD meeting MPR1 at 3:00
Weds. PP Standardization. See agenda below

 Please see the PD and Collaborative planning shared by the principals to plan for upcomming weeks.

NHD Monday

Year 8 and 9 students have no regular classes.

Those who teach Year 7 period 4, please take attendance, and escort the students to NHD in the Theater Foyer

Personal Project Exhibition, Thursday 26.

Regular classes for Year 10 period 1 and 2. Then students go to set up 
Grade 9 classes will visit Lesson 4. If you teach Grade 9. please take attendance, then escort your class to the exhibition in the Theater Foyer.


Agenda for Personal Project Standardization Meeting Weds Jan 25

Please do not share grading information with students

Before the meeting Weds Jan 25

1.      Familiarize yourself with the task specific clarification on p 12-20 of the Teacher Companion.
2.      Familiarize yourself with the Student Report for standardization.
3.      Have notes ready on achievement levels

During the meeting Weds Jan 25

1.      Review of goals and teams (10 minutes)
2.      Share notes on achievement, record rough draft on F 3 form (30 minutes)
3.      Report back, review of Final grades for this report from last year’s moderation
4.      Plan where to meet next week, plan for grading

After the meeting

1.      See students work at the exhibition Thursday 26
2.      Get a hard copy of student’s work from IB office. Each student submitted 3 copies
       Sign the form in the IB office when you take the copy so we know it was taken
3.      Make notes on achievement level for YOUR Personal Project Student. Review the other students in your grading group to be familiar with them.

During Standardization meeting  Mon Jan 30, Weds Feb 1,

1.      Share your notes on YOUR students with the group. The members should have reviewed it in advance.
2.      Come to agreement on the level and why
3.      Record on the F3

      Please do not share grading information with students


After Standardization meeting

1.      The leaders should submit the F3 forms on MB Groups  “10 Personal Project 2016 - 2017 “
Click on “View Files” then F3 form, Then the class folder.

2.      Please have all F3 forms uploaded to MB groups by Fri Feb 17

      Please do not share grading information with students
